Well, Dad just got to Ganganagar in the evening today, and so we're having a family reunion of sorts. That seems to include all of the usual kowtowing and jamai bhawa by my grandparents, which is rather funny... I mean, just the basic scene of "aap baithiye... nahin nahin, aap baithiye" to ad infinitum is kinda funny. Especially when it comes to a draw, with neither side giving way...
But then there's also this thing about family reunions, when you can be with the people closest to you and just chilling out. Not to mention the amazing pampering lavished on you by grandparents :)
Have to get back to the real, cruel world tomorrow, where it's every man for himself. No more grandparents doting at your beck and call, nobody to protect you from punishment for various misdemeanours and so on... But then it also means that atleast I'll have SOMETHING to do, apart from timing when the electricity is gonna come back or which book to re-re-read.
I still don't have any company for New Year's Eve. Invitations have been answered with a "Umm.. I haven't decided yet.. I don't even know if I'm gonna be in town.." and similars. If anybody wants passes to the Rambagh or Country Inn parties, kindly contact me.
Lunch calls and I have to move butt.
Cheers!
Edit::
PS: I still have no company for New Years. Which means I most definitely have unnecessary passes to Rambagh and/or Country Inn. Meh...
